Author Guidelines
Everything you need to prepare and submit a manuscript to TuwesJournal.
General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not previously published.
- Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English.
- All manuscripts undergo peer review before publication.
- Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.
Manuscript Types
TuwesJournal accepts the following manuscript types:
- Original Articles: Full-length research papers presenting new findings.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of specific topics.
- Short Communications: Brief reports of significant findings.
- Case Reports: Interesting or instructive case descriptions.
- Case Series: Groups of related case reports.
- Commentaries: Expert opinions on current topics.
- Letters to the Editor: Comments on published articles.
- Conference Abstracts: Summaries of conference presentations.
- Image Articles: Educational image-based submissions.
Formatting Requirements
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Double-spaced throughout.
- Page numbers should be consecutive.
- Figures and tables should be placed at the end after references.
- References should follow Vancouver format.
Abstract
Each original article must include a structured abstract of no more than 250 words, with the following headings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Review articles should include an unstructured abstract of no more than 300 words.
Keywords
Include 3-5 keywords below the abstract. Use terms from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) list where applicable.
References
References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first cited in the text. Identify references in the text, tables, and figure legends by Arabic numerals in superscript. Use the format of the National Library of Medicine (Vancouver style).
Submission Process
All manuscripts must be submitted online through the TuwesJournal portal. Authors will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission. The editorial office will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
